Senior AI Platform Engineer

Sr. AI Platform Engineer Remote - EST hours 83-87/hr (W2) OR 96-98/hr (C2C) 6 months contract - Extension possible Engagement Overview Marathon TS is seeking a Senior Engineer on a contract basis to support the design and building of next-generation AI platforms and tools. The Contractor will work across the full stack web, desktop, and backend automations delivering solutions that integrate AI frameworks and tooling into production systems in support of our client’'s AI strategy. This is a time-and-materials contract engagement. Scope of Work Build full-stack applications targeting web and desktop environments using modern frameworks and toolsDevelop backend automation systems and APIs that support AI workflows at scaleDesign and implement event-driven architectures using message queues and event busesManage infrastructure as code using AWS and Cloudflare, with a focus on DevOps best practicesIntegrate AI engineering tools and frameworks into TWCo product offeringsEstablish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsOptimize data persistence and caching layers using Redis and PostgreSQL Required Skills Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for production applicationsStrong understanding of system architectureDemonstrated experience with desktop frameworks (Tauri, Electrobun)Solid Python skills for backend development and scriptingHands-on experience with AWS and Cloudflare infrastructure as codeProven ability to design and build robust APIsExperience implementing message queue and event bus systemsProficiency with React and Next.js for frontend developmentProficiency with Redis and PostgreSQLDeep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including GitHub Actions Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Anthropic and OpenAI APIsHands-on experience with LightLLMTrack record shipping AI-integrated applications Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
