We’re looking for a talented, curious software engineer who already works AI-first and wants to develop into an exceptional consultant. You don’t need to arrive as the finished article. We’re looking for strong engineering instincts, raw problem-solving ability, curiosity and the confidence to work with people. We’ll help you develop the consulting, facilitation and leadership skills around that. What you'll be doing You’ll work directly with clients on engagements taking real business and technology problems from ambiguity through to production. That could include: Turning business problems and desired outcomes into practical AI-driven solutionsBuilding applications, integrations and agentic workflows using LLMs and APIsUsing tools such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor as a fundamental part of your engineering workflowTaking products from customer concept through architecture, build, testing and production deploymentHelping teams tackle engineering problems such as refactoring, technical debt and modernisation using AI-first approachesRapidly understanding unfamiliar systems and codebasesWorking with stakeholders to discover problems, explore options and communicate solutionsHelping client engineers adopt new tools and ways of workingOver time, developing the skills to facilitate workshops, coach teams, lead workstreams and advise senior stakeholders Our aim is to help organisations move beyond individuals simply using AI to work faster, towards using AI-first development to solve bigger and more complex problems. What we're looking for: You’ll be a strong software engineer who: Uses modern AI development tools every day, particularly Claude Code, Codex or CursorHas practical experience building software using LLMs, APIs and agentic workflowsCan take an unclear problem, break it down and turn it into a working solutionHas sound software engineering and architectural judgementIs comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies and domains quicklyIs naturally curious about new technology and actively experiments with itCommunicates clearly with both technical and non-technical peopleIs engaging, enthusiastic and able to bring people with youWants to develop beyond engineering into consulting, coaching and leadership Must have: hands-on experience building AI-enabled software. We care more about what you can build, how you think and how quickly you learn than a specific technology stack or number of years’ experience.
