Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus. A minimum of 12 years of professional software development experience is required, with demonstrated expertise in full stack engineering and system/application architecture. Prior experience in securities, financial services, or technology-first organizations is highly desirable. Candidates should have strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and designing RESTful and streaming APIs. Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment strategies, is essential. Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed data stores at scale will be advantageous. Additionally, experience with AI-enabled capabilities, such as GenAI or machine learning-driven services, to improve developer productivity or customer outcomes is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to new domains, and a commitment to secure, reliable, and scalable software development are critical for success in this role.
