About The Job Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to work on a key project on an 18-month fixed term contract. A skilled communicator and technically strong we’re looking for someone who can develop the infrastructure that our customer focussed digital platform will be built on. With great instincts of what needs to be achieved you’ll overcome key challenges at pace ensuring that all build processes are efficient, effective, and more importantly have a customer focused lens. Uncompromising and diligent in your approach, you’ll quickly deliver solutions to the challenges we face and be comfortable using serverless and cloud-based application stacks. Focused on achieving the right solution you’ll be inquisitive and innovative when adopting modern technologies as you create automation pipelines to drive reliable code deployments. You’ll be someone who enjoys creating efficient systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and keeping people focused on doing the right things well. You’ll create and maintain best practice infrastructure as code constraints and implement AWS Well-Architectured Framework ensuring we build efficient infrastructure solutions that guarantee scalability across all environments. We’re looking for someone solution orientated, who can optimise system performance and automate manual and repetitive tasks. Collaboration is key as you foster positive working relationships with a variety of internal and external teams. That means taking challenges on board readily, promptly relaying feedback in a clear, comprehensive, and courteous manner to ensure everyone has a shared level of understanding ensuring we achieve the right solution for our business.
