Full Stack Engineer

## About the Role Eliassen Group is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop and maintain websites and digital products, including modern web experiences. This role contributes across the full technology stack while collaborating with product managers, designers, external development teams, and other cross-functional partners. The engineer will focus on clean and maintainable code, system reliability, performance, debugging, continuous improvement, and adapting existing systems as business requirements evolve. The role also involves approved AI-powered engineering tools to support development, testing, documentation, and refactoring. ## Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain websites and digital products across the full stack. * Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on reliability, performance, and simplicity. * Work with frontend technologies including TypeScript, Next.js, and React. * Develop backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript. * Work with CMS platforms including WordPress and PHP. * Collaborate with product managers, designers, and external development teams to develop and execute new features. * Debug production issues and improve code quality and system reliability. * Own deliverables while seeking feedback and opportunities for growth. * Participate in code reviews and planning sessions. * Create and maintain engineering documentation. * Iterate and improve existing systems as business requirements change. * Use approved AI-powered engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and refactoring. * Provide after-hours and weekend support for production systems when needed. ## Required Qualifications * Proficiency across frontend, backend, and CMS development. * Experience with: * TypeScript * React * Next.js * Node.js * WordPress * PHP * Experience debugging production issues. * Experience improving code quality and system reliability. * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Experience participating in code reviews and planning sessions. * Ability to document engineering work. * Ability to adapt existing systems to evolving business requirements. * Familiarity with AI-powered engineering tools to enhance development workflows. * Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. * Willingness and ability to work on a W2 basis. ## Work Arrangement & Compensation * Remote position. * W2 employment. * Hourly rate: $65.00–$70.00/hour. * Benefits are available to eligible W2 employees regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, voluntary benefits, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, and sick time where required by law. * Production support may occasionally require after-hours and weekend availability. ## Recruitment Transparency Eliassen Group uses AI-powered tools as part of its initial application screening and hiring process.
