About the Opportunity: The Sr. Security Software Engineer, Security Operations role is focused on providing technical leadership to evolve and maintain foundational security platforms. This position is responsible for designing scalable security controls and integrating compliance processes into engineering workflows. The role ensures the reliability and adoption of security-critical capabilities across cloud infrastructure and software development lifecycles, contributing significantly to the organization''s security posture. 3. Responsibilities: Lead architecture and technical direction of key Security Operations systems and developer-facing security features.Design and implement production services, infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code to govern cloud resources and software delivery.Develop scalable security guardrails and streamlined processes for identity, access, infrastructure changes, and CI/CD security.Enhance vulnerability identification, prioritization, and remediation through automation and clear accountability.Manage complex cross-functional projects from design through operational maturity.Establish engineering standards and offer technical guidance to improve security system quality and reliability.Utilize AI responsibly to accelerate engineering and security analysis while defining validation and accountability practices. 4. Requirements: Experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems in security engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields.Strong knowledge of AWS security architecture, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code in large-scale or multi-account settings.Expertise in areas such as cloud governance, CI/CD security, vulnerability management, security automation, compliance platforms, or developer security tooling.Proven ownership of complex technical initiatives with architectural design, tradeoff evaluation, and cross-team impact.Sound software engineering judgment regarding system design, APIs, reliability, observability, testing, and security-critical operations.Effective technical communication, risk assessment, mentorship, and responsible AI application.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package: The salary range for this position is $155,584 to $320,320 USD.The position is also eligible for equity.
