Job Description The Sr. Electronics Design Engineer in the XP HVHP (High Voltage, High Power) division is a senior individual-contributor technical role responsible for executing High Bridge’s assigned projects within the XP HV Technology roadmap, providing senior-level technical support across new product development, and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers. This role combines hands-on design and lab work with project ownership, cross-site technical representation, and development of the broader engineering team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own execution of High Bridge’s assigned projects within the XP HV Technology roadmap — from concept throughdesign-ready maturity — including defining goals, project plans, timelines, resources, and costsDocument and present HV technology project findings to technical stakeholders across XP on a regular cadenceServe as a senior technical resource across all active NPD projects, including schematic creation and review, PCBreview, design reviews, breadboarding, hands-on testing, and reportingCarry meaningful technical sign-off weight in design reviews, identifying design issues earlyMentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, including review of their work product and transfer of HV-specific design knowledgeRepresent HVHP in cross-site design reviews and technical discussions, independentlyProvide technical expertise and problem-solving support for sustaining legacy designs as needed, stepping into alead role when issues become criticalOther duties may be assigned as required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), with 10–15 years of power electronicsdesign and development experience, including 10+ years of high voltage DC design experienceDemonstrated experience leading technology development projects from concept through design-ready maturityStrong analog and digital circuit analysis skills, with deep expertise in high voltage DC power supply designProven ability to mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineersAbility to work hands-on with a variety of lab equipment and toolsProgramming experience (C, LabView, Matlab) is desirableFamiliarity with communication protocols (RS232, USB, Ethernet) is desirableExcellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including the ability to present technical findings to stakeholdersacross the organizationAbility to represent HVHP independently in cross-site technical discussionsAbility to multitask and shift priorities as neededWillingness to work flexible hours on occasionLimited travel may be required Additional Information XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collaborative, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
