Job Description Quality Engineer Responsibilities Understand customer needs and requirements to ensure effective implementation of quality control processesDevelop and review product and process specificationsDefine requirements for raw materials or semi-finished products for suppliers and monitor their complianceSupervise production processes to ensure product qualityOversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standardsInspect finished products and compare their properties with applicable requirementsApprove compliant products or reject defective onesMaintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysisConduct tests and measurements in the quality laboratorySelect appropriate inspection equipment to verify productsAnalyze and validate available dataHandle customer complaints using quality toolsGather customer feedback to assess satisfaction with delivered productsMaintain ongoing communication with customers regarding quality mattersConduct quality-related training for employeesIdentify opportunities for improvement and develop effective proceduresDefine corrective and preventive actions as well as improvementsCo-create and support the Quality, Environmental, and other management systems in placeConduct internal auditsParticipate in external audits, including customer auditsEnsure workplace safety, respond to health and safety risks, and report potential hazardsFollow applicable standards and proceduresPromote company values by supporting its mission, vision, and strategy Requirements Knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, Flow Chart, SPC, GD&TGood command of English enabling effective communicationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGoal-oriented, proactive, and well-organized approach to workPunctuality and effectiveness in task executionValid Category B driving licenseWillingness to work in accordance with company standards and proceduresBasic knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations (BHP training participation required) Qualifications Higher education is preferred, ideally in a technical fieldCertifications or training in quality management systems are an advantage (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 Internal Auditor)Experience in quality-related roles is an assetCompletion of initial and/or periodic health and safety training in accordance with legal requirements Interview Requirements And Candidate Privacy Notice All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
