DevSecOps Specialist

Our client, the Bank of Canada in Ottawa has a 12 month hybrid remote renewable contract for a DevSecOps Specialist. Key Responsibilities: • Develop scripts and pipelines required in release processes, managing environments and deployment • Resolve and support the resolution of complex operational issues by leveraging advanced expertise in the underlying business applications and associated infrastructure • Develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence through automation and the adoption of appropriate tools and best practices • Contribute technical expertise within the scrum teams by supporting the resolution of technical issues and sharing knowledge with team members • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Advanced Security and Nexus to support continuous integration, testing, security and deployment processes • Related activities and deliverables, as required Education and Certifications • University degree or college diploma in computer science, or software development Relevant Experience • Minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience developing scripts or automation solutions for application releases, environment management, and deployments • Minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, including source code version control, artifact repository management, automated build processes, and deployment pipelines within enterprise environments • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and improving automated build, test, security, and deployment pipelines. • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and solutions • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex operational issues involving business applications and their supporting infrastructure Technical Skills • Demonstrated Knowledge of managing configurations through YAML, Kustomize and Helm • Demonstrated knowledge of application authentication and certificate management • Demonstrated experience working with privileged access management and certificate lifecycle management tools such as CyberArk and AppViewX • Demonstrated experience working with messaging and integration platforms, including AMQ and Spring Integration • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, Java, Unix scripting, and Node.js. • Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo CD, Azure Container Registry, and Azure DevOps Category/Catégorie: Non-Sensitive/Non-Délicat • Demonstrated experience using build automation and dependency management tools, including Maven and/or Gradle, to support application build, testing, and deployment processes
