DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen the security, reliability and efficiency of our software delivery environment in Gepps Cross, South Australia. You will embed security across the development lifecycle, automate secure infrastructure and help protect the technology behind our innovative products. What you will do: Working across Engineering, Development and Operations, you will: Build and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible on developmental networks Embed security practices into the software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and monitoring Strengthen and maintenance network security, access controls, encryption and data protection practices, in accordance with applicable frameworks such as the ISM Implement security testing, vulnerability scanning, monitoring and alerting across development and product environments Support secure releases through threat modelling, code reviews and vulnerability management Lead incident response, remediation and continuous security improvement Promote practical security knowledge and collaboration across technical teams About you: You are a proactive software professional who enjoys solving complex problems and making secure delivery easier for teams. You communicate clearly, collaborate well across disciplines and continuously look for ways to improve systems, processes and security initiatives. You will have: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in a DevSecOps or similar role Knowledge of cyber security principles, vulnerabilities and threats, or the desire to learn Experience with networking infrastructure and security best practice Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Bash, Terraform or Ansible Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA and vulnerability scanning tools If you want to secure innovative technology that matters, we would love to hear from you.
