Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Nuclera is a venture-backed, founder-driven biotech company headquartered in Cambridge, UK with significant operations in Boston, USA. Our purpose is to improve human health by making proteins accessible to life science researchers around the world. In 2024, we launched eProtein Discovery™ - a breakthrough protein expression, characterization, and purification platform, consisting of cloud-based software and a lab-based instrument (with proprietary cartridges and consumables). Since then, we have established a growing installed base in North America, Europe and Asia, receiving numerous awards and customer accolades. We are looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer to work on our customer-facing cloud and instrument software as well as the internal tools that support our in-house protein screening services. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including working closely with biologists and other stakeholders to define use-cases and requirements, translating those requirements into technical designs, implementing those designs in code and writing tests to verify its correctness. No prior knowledge of biology is necessary, but curiosity and an eagerness to learn is critical.
