About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining flexible infrastructure and automation solutions that enable our teams to work more efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT professionals to streamline development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and continuous integration, with the ability to multitask and adapt to urgent situations. Your contributions will directly support our mission to deliver innovative healthcare solutions and improve service delivery. Qualifications Six or more years of configuration analysis experienceExperience working with distributed computer systems, software, and communication networksProficiency in networking principles and local area networksHands-on experience with company software and hardware products3-5 years of containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)Extensive knowledge of software build cycles and deployment processesExperience with infrastructure automation tools and scripting languagesProficiency with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) toolsAbility to write code to automate repeatable processesExperience developing infrastructure as code for cloud-based platformsStrong understanding of version control systems and configuration managementExcellent problem-solving and communication skills Responsibilities Develop and maintain standards and procedures for configuration management to support deployment activitiesInterpret configuration management activities and tools, applying them to project tasksCollaborate with project managers to develop configuration management plans, milestones, and schedulesDecompose configuration items into appropriate units for specific projectsIdentify issues and recommend solutions to ensure configuration integrityPerform audits to verify compliance with configuration management plansEstablish and maintain hardware and software standards, including documentation and tracking guidelinesAssist customers and support teams in understanding product configurationsDevelop scripts and automation tools to build, integrate, and deploy software releases across platformsWork with development teams and release managers to understand impacts of code branches and mergesResearch and implement new methodologies and technologies in configuration managementInterface with in-house teams to develop cutting-edge mobile-first and SaaS-based productsDevelop infrastructure as code to support cloud-based PaaS platformsProvide leadership and guidance to less experienced team members Benefits Fully remote work opportunity, allowing work from anywhere in the U.S.Minimal travel required (0-10%), with occasional travel opportunitiesCompetitive annual salary range of $85,000 to $121,400, commensurate with experience and locationGenerous and flexible vacation policy401(k) employer match to support your financial futureComprehensive health benefits packageEducational assistance to support continuous learning and certificationsAccess to leadership and technical development academies for career growth Equal Opportunity Gainwell Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
