Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our Technology Team as part of our continued digital development and system enhancement.
The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, databases, and infrastructure supporting our mobile applications and web-based admin portal, while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable system performance.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and databases supporting mobile applications and the admin portal.
• Configure and manage AWS, Vercel, and related infrastructure across staging and production environments.
• Implement secure authentication, role-based access control, data protection, and audit logging.
• Integrate payment gateways, notifications, and other relevant third-party business systems.
• Review existing code, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Coordinate with developers and external vendors on testing, deployment, and go-live support.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure proper knowledge transfer and project handover.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
•Minimum 5 years of relevant backend development experience, with the ability to independently deliver production systems.
• Strong proficiency in backend programming, REST APIs, relational databases, and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Vercel, Git, automated deployment pipelines, monitoring, and backup/recovery processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, secure development, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience supporting mobile applications and web-based admin portals through deployment and handover.
