Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centers

We have recently partnered with an industry-leading MEP firm in the mission critical and hyperscale data center space that is looking to open up a brand new Dallas office. The east coast headquartered firm have rapidly established themselves in the industry and are growing at such a strong rate that they are now looking to expand into the Dallas market. Therefore, they are currently searching for a senior electrical engineer to join this new team and help lead this office's regional growth. This hire will be given the rare opportunity to join one of the quickest growing MEP firms in the data center market, whilst also taking on immediate responsibility and playing a key role in leading the direction of a new office. The firm is also very well positioned financially and this is reflected in how well they compensate their employees! Duties/Responsibilities Lead electrical power distribution and lighting design for medium- and low-voltage systemsOversee emergency and standby power systems, including generators, UPS, and transfer equipmentPerform and review electrical calculations, equipment sizing, panel schedules, and system studiesEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IBC, and applicable local codesReview fault current, selective coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, and Neher-McGrath analysesCoordinate electrical designs across multiple disciplinesReview submittals, RFIs, construction documents, and technical deliverablesProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and QA/QC oversight Required Skills/Abilities Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for electrical modeling and designStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and electrical engineering softwareStrong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlinesExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lead and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required8+ years of electrical engineering design experience preferredExtensive experience with power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systemsExperience with mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or similar projects preferredPE certification preferredE.I.T. certification strongly preferred
