AI Engineer | Atlanta, GA | Hybrid | $110K - $150K
Do you want to build AI agents that real users depend on, and are you already doing it in your own time as well as at work? We're looking for an AI Engineer who is ambitious, curious, and keen to move fast.
You've shipped agents into production, you've got side projects you can't stop tinkering with, and you want a role that lets you grow into a senior engineer quickly.
We're partnering with a growing organization that is fully built around agentic AI.
This is a hands-on build role with real ownership.
You'll be part of a small, technical team where good ideas get shipped rather than debated, and where strong performers are given more scope early.
Key Responsibilities
Building and deploying agents
Design, build, and ship AI agents and LLM-powered workflows into production environmentsOwn solutions end to end, from scoping and prototyping through to deployment and iterationIntegrate agents with live systems and third-party APIs using tool use and function calling
Quality and reliability
Write clean, maintainable, production-grade code rather than demo-quality buildsEvaluate, monitor, and improve agent performance once solutions are liveApply prompt engineering and retrieval techniques (RAG, vector databases) to real use cases
Growth and contribution
Keep pace with a fast-moving field and bring new tools, models, and ideas to the teamContribute to reusable components and frameworks that speed up future buildsExplain how your solutions work clearly to non-technical colleagues
Key Skills & Qualifications
Required
1-3 years of experience building or deploying AI agents in productionStrong Python skillsHands-on experience with LLM APIs and at least one orchestration framework (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)Practical experience with RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineeringGenuine passion for AI, evidenced by personal projects, open-source work, or a public portfolioAmbition and a drive to learn fast and take on more responsibility
Preferred
Experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI (other cloud AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI also valued)Familiarity with agent communication standards such as MCPExperience with multi-agent systems or agent evaluationA GitHub profile, writing, or talks that show your work
