Description

AI Integration Engineer Location: Hopkins, MN or Dallas, TX Salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year We are seeking an AI Integration Engineer to help integrate Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions into enterprise environments. This opportunity combines API engineering, cloud infrastructure and security, with a focus on connecting AI capabilities to enterprise applications and services. Key responsibilities Develop and implement integrations that connect GenAI and LLM solutions with enterprise systems.Work with API gateways and integration platforms to support secure, scalable connectivity.Apply enterprise integration patterns, microservices, service mesh and event-driven architecture principles.Implement API security and authentication controls using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT and mTLS.Support cloud-native integrations using Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform. Skills and experience Experience integrating Generative AI and LLM solutions into enterprise environments.Knowledge of Solo.io Agent Gateway and Model Context Protocol (MCP).Experience with API platforms such as Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway or MuleSoft.Understanding of Istio/Envoy, service mesh and Kubernetes YAML configuration.Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and microservices.Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and API security.Cloud experience across Azure, AWS or GCP, alongside Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform.Programming experience in Python, Java, Go or Node.js.
