About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Data Engineer specializing in Market Data to join our Institutional Markets team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining the core systems that generate, capture, normalize, and distribute real-time market data across Coinbase. You will lead a lean, high-impact team, building the foundational infrastructure for our trading platform's ticker plant and distribution backbone. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of low-latency systems, market data protocols, and high-throughput messaging, and will be passionate about delivering reliable, scalable solutions that enable seamless institutional trading experiences.
