WMS Engineer

The organization is active worldwide in 40 countries, employing more than 4,500 logistics experts. Job inhoud Develop and implement state-of-the-art warehouse solutions in Europe and CIS. Translate new business needs into leading warehousing solutions. Support the WMS development roadmap and implementation program. Operate in a team of advanced logistics experts that design and implement logistics solutions. KEY ACTIVITIES ø Support innovation projects in current SDS warehouses in Europe and CIS; ø Support new business projects and have a leading role in warehouse (re) design, fit-out and resource calculation; ø Understand and analyze customer data translate into understandable process improvements and innovations; ø Designing robust and technically feasible logistics concepts for new business in warehousing; ø Focus on further enhancement of SDS in-house Cello WMS for existing customers; ø Be the interface between local warehouse operations teams in Europe and the development team in Korea; ø Gather information regarding new processes, IT systems or trends in the market in order to have up to date knowledge Job vereisten For this role we are looking for a candidate who is capable of converting business requirements in innovative warehouse solution, detailed design of warehouse layout and warehouse process. Our ideal candidate has excellent creative and analytical skills. He/she is a flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality. We are looking for an employee with: ø Master degree in Logistics/SCM or from a technical university; ø 5+ years of experience in logistics engineering (warehouse layout and process design) and/or data analysis; ø 3+ years experience in a LSP environment and relevant role; ø Conceptual and analytical thinker with the perseverance to finish what you start; ø Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets; ø A proficient level of English; ø Good MS Office skills; ø Experience with WMS systems; ø Open to other cultures and social; ø Travelling will be required in this role.
