Job Title: Senior Java Full Stack Engineer Experience: 8+ Years Location: Lafayette, LA (Preferred), Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC, Dallas, TX or Austin, TX | Hybrid Salary: $80k- $141k per annum Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with Azure experience. The ideal candidate will work with a high-performing team to design, develop, deploy, and support distributed applications and microservices in a large-scale environment. The role requires strong technical expertise across Java, Spring Boot, Azure, APIs, microservices, containers, CI/CD, and cloud-native application development. Key Responsibilities Full stack development including analysis, design, development, unit testing, and implementation of distributed applications and microservices consistent with architectural direction and established patterns.Help drive design discussions and take ownership of end-to-end implementation.Drive proof of concepts for software tools and technologies related to application or process development and establish patterns.Plan and implement procedures focused on operational efficiency and automation through DevOps capabilities.Establish, improve, and maintain proactive monitoring and management of supported assets, assuring performance, availability, resiliency, and security.Maintain a solid and collaborative relationship with delivery partners and business stakeholders.Complete work following Agile development methodology and concepts. Required Qualifications At least 8+ years of experience as a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with experience in Azure, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting computing applications in a large-scale, midrange, and distributed environment. Expertise in API standards and microservices architecture.Expertise in development of RESTful APIs and SOAP services using message formats such as JSON or XML.Expertise in integration technologies such as Spring Boot, Camel, and Fuse.Expertise in JVM-based languages such as Java and Java 8.Expertise in functional programming and reactive frameworks.Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.Experience developing event-driven architectures using Azure messaging services.Experience containerizing applications using Docker and deploying on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Experience working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.Expertise in Git flow model and working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration engines such as OpenShift.Experience with application patterns such as circuit breakers, throttling, rate limiting, and service discovery. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with Agile development methodology and concepts.Demonstrated ability and interest in learning new technologies.Healthcare / Health Services business area subject matter expertise preferred.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
