In the role of Bridge Engineer, we'll count on you to: Apply structural engineering and detailing techniquesWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, and prestress concrete, box culvert, and interchange design for highway projectsSelect standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity developmentReview, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITsPerform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Structural Engineering.A minimum of 3 years' experience in bridge design Keywords: Bridge Engineer, Structural Bridge Engineer, Transportation Structures Engineer, Civil Structural Engineer, Structural Engineering, Structural Detailing, Bridge Design, Structural Analysis, Load Calculations, Engineering Calculations, Quantity Takeoffs / Quantity Development, Geometric Layout, Design Development, Engineering Specifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degreePrevious experience in bridge designRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
