Senior Cloud Developer

Senior Cloud Developer | Azure | Kubernetes | C# No Sponsorship Option Cambridge, 50% office working £60,000-£75,000 I’m working with a technology business looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join their R&D team in Cambridge. You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional engineering team, designing and building highly available SaaS services within a modern Azure environment. What you'll be doing: • Designing and developing scalable cloud services in Azure • Building and supporting microservices and REST APIs using C# • Working with Kubernetes / AKS and containerised applications • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation • Working closely with other technical teams across the wider platform • Helping identify and resolve technical issues across production environments • Taking ownership of what you build and how it operates in production • Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers What they're looking for: • Strong commercial experience developing cloud-based applications • Strong knowledge of Azure – compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS • Strong C# / .NET development experience • Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs • Experience working within a CI/CD environment • A proactive approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills • Good communication and collaboration skills Nice to have: • Angular or other modern frontend frameworks • Experience mentoring junior engineers • Experience with SaaS platforms
