Job Description:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Scala.Build, enhance, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.Design and optimize database solutions using MySQL.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, scalability, and reliability issues.Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design standards and development best practices.Contribute to CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with established engineering standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
IT experience, with strong expertise in software development.Strong programming experience in Scala, with familiarity with relevant Scala frameworks and libraries.Good working knowledge of Java and backend application development.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming (FP) concepts.Proven experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and backend services.Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and distributed development teams.
