Title: Senior / Lead Cloud & AI Engineer – Agentic AI Platform (m/w/d), German-speaking
Location: Munich (hybrid, 2–3 days in office) | Type: Full-time, permanent
About the company:
Our client is an established, mid-sized cloud and AI consultancy based in Munich.
They are AWS and Azure specialists who design and deliver cloud-native platforms and production AI for enterprise clients, including in automotive, energy and IoT.
Their view is that AI should be code running in production.
The opportunity:
They've just won a new enterprise project and need two engineers to build an agentic AI platform from the ground up:
Lead Cloud & AI Engineer / Technical Architect (up to €100k base).
You'll be the technical spearhead with the client: leading workshops and kick-offs, shaping the architecture and building trust with senior stakeholders, while staying hands-on.Senior Cloud & AI Engineer (around €85k base).
You'll work alongside the lead and drive hands-on delivery of the platform.
What you'll do:
Design and build agent-based architectures and agentic workflowsDevelop RAG systems and provide MCP servers that connect LLMs to enterprise systemsBuild cloud-native applications and APIs on AWS and AzureImplement CI/CD and MLOps pipelinesWork directly with the client, including on-site workshops roughly every six months (travel expenses fully covered)
What you'll bring:
Strong software engineering in Java/Kotlin and/or Python (Spring or Jakarta EE is a plus)Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, agent frameworks (e.g.
LangChain or LangGraph) and ideally MCPCloud-native skills: Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS and/or Azure, and CI/CD toolsConfidence working with customers.
For the lead role, you'll need a track record as the technical lead in front of clients.Fluent German (C1 or above), because the project and the client are German-speaking
