The business combines strong technical expertise with a client-focused approach to solving complex challenges within the investment management sector. The Opportunity We're looking for an engineer to combine hands-on software development with technical leadership and mentoring. You’ll work across full-stack Microsoft and web technologies, helping design and deliver scalable solutions while developing your understanding of investment management and working closely with high-profile clients. What You'll Be Doing Lead and mentor a team of developers, supporting their professional growthDesign and architect scalable, maintainable and high-performance software solutionsContribute to full-stack development across front end and middlewareApply strong coding, testing and version-control practicesDeliver software projects and solutions for investment management clientsAnalyse complex problems and break them down into logical, practical solutionsBuild knowledge of investment management and the wider investment banking environmentCommunicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholdersSet objectives, tasks and deadlines to ensure successful deliveryContribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment What They're Looking For Graduate with a strong academic backgroundStrong software development and problem-solving abilityExperience with C#, ADO.NET and ASP.NET (Web API/Web Services)Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQLUnderstanding of SOLID development principlesExperience with unit testing and Test-Driven DevelopmentStrong communication and client-facing skillsAbility to lead, mentor and support other developersWillingness and enthusiasm to learn about financial markets and investment managementDetermined, flexible and collaborative approach to workAbility to manage multiple priorities in a professional client environment Nice to Have HTML5, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScriptAngular experienceGit and Azure DevOpsPrevious experience within financial services or investment management Why Join?
