Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based software applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define software specifications. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD. Collaborate with DevOps and data engineering teams for seamless integration and performance. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Work with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment. Support refactoring and modernization of legacy applications. Engage with customers and stakeholders to address service requests and ensure effective resolution QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Strong Python development skills, preferably with FastAPI or similar frameworks.Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.Experience with Pydantic and AsyncIO.Experience with SQL and databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.Experience with RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures.Knowledge of CI/CD practices and test automation frameworks such as Selenium.Experience with Docker and containerized environments is a plus.Azure Cloud experience is a plus.Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required; German is a plus. Experience6+ years of professional software development experience.3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.Experience developing backend services and applications.Experience working with service-based and event-driven architectures.Experience working with databases and SQL.Experience in Agile development environments.Experience with CI/CD, testing, debugging, and deployment.Experience working with legacy code and participating in refactoring initiatives.Experience collaborating with developers, architects, business analysts, DevOps, data engineers, and IT operations teams.
