Senior DevOps Engineer | AWS, Terraform, ECS | Global Sports Performance Tech Trusted by Thousands of Elite Teams Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + 15% equity bonusLocation: London, hybrid, 3 days a week in the office I'm working with a global sports performance technology business that's hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer into its London platform team. Their cloud platform brings together video, wearable data and athlete information for coaches, sports scientists and athletes across thousands of elite teams, and they build it with those clients rather than for them. You'll join a mature team of five spread across London, Australia, Bulgaria and the US. It's a flat structure, with everyone reporting into the Principal DevOps Lead, and this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You'll own the AWS estate, the Terraform and the CI/CD pipelines, and the estate is modern with very little legacy, so the focus is on improving what's there and shaping what comes next. What They're Looking For: AWS: deep expertise, including cloud security and complianceTerraform: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) at scaleAmazon ECSGitHub ActionsSenior DevOps, SRE or platform background, leading technical decisionsProblem solving: you question how things are done and bring solutions What You'll Work With: CI/CD pipelines built for fast, safe, repeatable deliveryObservability: logging, monitoring, alerting, SLOs and SLIsVulnerability and infrastructure scanning in the pipelineAgent deployment across the estate Nice to Haves: Kubernetes (K8s)AppSec: security built into build and deploy pipelinesAnsibleSOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or PCI-DSSRegulated industries such as healthcare or fintechHybrid estates: data centre and on-prem alongside cloudServerless or AI-driven operations Why Join / Projects?
