Our client, a leading technology company in the wireless communications space, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in the Markham area. Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: Markham ON Position Type: Hybrid Key Requirements Experience: 8–12+ years of professional backend development experience with a degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.Core Tech: Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and containerized architectures (Kubernetes / OpenShift).Networking & Protocols: Experience with low-level network socket programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and distributed system integration patterns.Security & Tools: Understanding of secure application development (OAuth2, JWT, encryption) and strong Git proficiency.Nice-to-Have: CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, scripting, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
