Civil Engineer

MNP are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Hitchin or London EC1R. Your responsibilities will include: · Preparing outline & detailed civil engineering designs and drawings in accordance with the relevant design standard · Working collaboratively with clients, contractors and the supply chain to understand and develop project objectives · Liaising with stakeholders, statutory and local authorities to obtain relevant approvals What we’re looking for: · 2 – 5 years’ experience · Degree in Civil Engineering or suitable alternative qualification · Experience across residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration projects · Highways design experience including S38 & S278 · S104 & S185 Drainage Design & Technical Approval · Pavement Design & Specification · Detailed Drainage Design & Modelling including SuDS · Flood Risk Assessments & Drainage Strategies · Strong technical report writing and communication skills · Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Autodesk Civil3D · Proficient in the use of drainage design software - Causeway Flow or similar Why join MNP: · Certified B Corporation™ · Featured in the Building Good Employer Guide 2026 · Grow your career with us through professional mentorship · Supportive team environment · STEM outreach and volunteering opportunities
