Location: Warsaw/Krakow, Poland Employment Type: Permanent, B2B or Sub-con Contract Duration: The candidates contract will be for 12 Months with extension possibility Work Mode: Remote with occasional travel as and when needed Language: English (Mandatory) Job Description: We are seeking Senior DevOps Engineers to join our team as imbedded DevOps resources. In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, security, scaling, and daily operations of our edge and cloud infrastructure. You will bridge the gap between development and operations by implementing high-velocity CI/CD pipelines, advanced container orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS), and modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC). As a senior member, you will champion Agile methodologies, drive automation, and ensure a resilient, secure platform environment. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Container Orchestration Kubernetes Management: Design, configure, and maintain production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring high availability, network isolation, and performance optimization.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure using Terraform and ARM Templates to guarantee reliable, repeatable deployments.Configuration Automation: Standardize and manage system configurations across environments using Ansible / Ansible Tower. CI/CD & Workflow Automation Pipeline Engineering: Build and optimize end-to-end continuous integration and deployment workflows across both Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.Source Control Governance: Oversee Git repositories, defining advanced branching models, merge policies, and access structures to protect codebase integrity.Scripting & Task Automation: Develop clean, maintainable automation scripts in PowerShell or Python to eliminate manual overhead and streamline routine cloud operations.Security & SupportCloud Networking: Configure and maintain sophisticated Azure networking topologies, including VNETs, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), load balancers, and edge routing mechanisms.One Edge Support: Act as the dedicated, imbedded engineering layer to troubleshoot complex multi-tier application failures, network bottlenecks, and deployment blocks. Agile & Collaboration Agile Delivery: Participate actively in Sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure rapid, high-quality deliverables.Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and security teams to implement security-first practices (DevSecOps) from code to production. Required Technical Skillset Cloud Platform: Proficient with Azure Cloud ecosystem management.Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Helm charts, and container networking.Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible / Ansible Tower, and ARM Templates.CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.Source Control: Advanced Git proficiency.Scripting: Robust automation capabilities utilizing PowerShell or Python.Networking: Strong foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VNET integration, and cloud firewall boundaries.Methodology: Agile / Scrum framework experience.Education & Experience Experience: Extensive years of total experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering, with at least 3+ years in a senior capacity managing Azure and Kubernetes environments.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.Preferred Certifications Candidates holding one or more of the following certifications will be given priority consideration: AZ-104: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate AZ-400: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert CKA / CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Administrator / Application developer Skills Mandatory Skills : Ansible, Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub Co-Pilot, Kubernetes Good to Have Skills : Azure App Service, Docker, PowerShell, Python
