Renewable Energy Engineer

Renewable Energy Engineer (Entry-Level) Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid) Salary: CAD $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience Type: Full-time, permanent About us We are a clean energy company that develops, builds, owns and operates renewable projects across Canada. Our growing portfolio spans utility-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS), and as a long-term owner we stay with every project from the first feasibility study through years of operation. We are expanding our Toronto team and looking for an entry-level engineer who wants to help build Canada's clean energy future. What you will do You will support engineering across our project pipeline, learning from experienced engineers while taking on real responsibility from the start. Your work will include:Supporting engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects at every stagePreparing energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligenceAssisting with grid connection applications and coordination with utilities and system operators, including IESO processesReviewing technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendorsSupporting construction and commissioning, with travel to project sites across CanadaAnalyzing performance data from operating assets and recommending improvementsContributing to the tools, templates and standards our engineering team runs on What we are looking for A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering, or a related fieldA demonstrated interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transitionStrong analytical ability and comfort working with data and spreadsheetsClear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical topics simpleInitiative and curiosity: you take ownership, ask good questions and learn quicklyEligibility to work in CanadaInternship, co-op or project experience in energy is an asset but not required. Registration or intent to register as an EIT (Engineer in Training) is also an asset. We hire for aptitude and attitude, and we invest in developing our engineers.
