Description

Professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or enterprise data platform delivery • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud Data stack: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Databricks • Deep proficiency in SQL Server, complex T-SQL development, and legacy/hybrid data integration via SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Strong coding and scripting skills in both SQL and Python for ETL/ELT data processing, data modeling, and performance optimization • Proven experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub • Hands-on mastery of Git-based development workflows, including branching strategies, pull request reviews, and automated release management • Strong understanding of data architecture fundamentals, enterprise data warehousing, dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon), and data quality framework implementation • Experience operating in Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, troubleshooting production data pipelines, and maintaining technical architecture documentation • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with professional English proficiency • Secondary / Nice-to-Have Skills: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification (DP-203), PySpark optimization, Delta Lake experience, and automated unit testing for data pipelines
