Job Description:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust Java-based applications and microservices.Develop, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and new features.Integrate applications with databases, APIs, messaging platforms, and third-party services.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.Participate in code reviews and promote adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and software engineering principles.Contribute to technical design discussions and continuous improvement of backend systems and development processes.Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends in Java and backend development.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Strong expertise in software development and enterprise application delivery.Strong hands-on experience with Java, including proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, and software engineering principles.Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable backend applications.Experience building and supporting highly available, distributed backend systems in enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.Familiarity with Apache Kafka, event-driven architectures, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk and application tracing/observability tools.Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and application performance tuning.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance in production environments.Experience in the banking and financial services domain is preferred.
