DevOps Engineer

## About the Role The **DevOps Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)** will support the software developed across the organization, spanning development platforms, application compilation, deployments, monitoring, and the broader software development lifecycle. This role serves as a bridge between software development and infrastructure teams to establish clear requirements, reliable processes, and effective communication. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to learn new and existing technologies, attentive to detail, comfortable with continuous improvement, and able to support CI/CD, monitoring, deployments, automation, and enterprise IT engineering environments. ## Key Responsibilities * Support and facilitate communication across software development and infrastructure teams. * Own and support **systems and service monitoring**. * Own and support **software deployments**. * Organize and execute application deployments. * Use tools such as **Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket** to track deployment-related issues. * Create release structures and deploy code. * Research emerging technologies and processes and develop proof-of-concepts. * Support and enhance the **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)**. * Serve as a technical knowledge source for identifying appropriate contacts when issues arise. * Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, technologies, and tools. * Support reliable and repeatable software delivery processes. * Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to clarify project requirements. ## Required Qualifications * Proven experience in **CI/CD, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Engineering** roles. * Strong experience with **Git** or equivalent version control systems. * Strong experience with systems or service monitoring tools and methodologies. * Experience in an **enterprise IT engineering environment**. * Knowledge of: * TCP/IP networking * Linux server administration * Windows server administration * Various operating systems * Virtual machine administration * Web technologies, including client/server systems, APIs, load balancers, and certificates * Understanding of **QA testing and testing concepts**. * Ability to support cross-functional communication and collaboration. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning. * Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employment sponsorship. ## Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. * At least **5 years of IT engineering experience in an enterprise setting**. * Experience with integration frameworks such as **Selenium or Appium**. * Exposure to **.NET Framework/Core**. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as **Octopus, Jenkins, or TeamCity**. * Automation and orchestration experience with **Ansible, Chef, or Puppet**. * Container experience with **Docker and Kubernetes**. * Development experience within a software engineering team. * Experience with **Python or Node.js**. * Experience with deployment, release management, and software delivery processes. ## Work Arrangement * **Location:** United States * **Work Arrangement:** Remote / Work From Home * **Eligible States:** Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, or Texas * **Work Authorization:** Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship. ## Apply Now Apply now to be considered for the **DevOps Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)** opportunity and contribute to CI/CD, software deployments, monitoring, automation, infrastructure collaboration, and SDLC improvement in a remote environment.
