About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions within the .NET ecosystem. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-performance, scalable applications that support the digital data exchange processes between pharmaceutical companies and regulatory agencies. You will work closely with other senior engineers to develop modern microservice architectures, implement REST APIs, and ensure code quality through best practices such as Clean Code and SOLID principles. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly influence the efficiency of the drug approval process, ultimately benefiting patient access to vital medications. Qualifications Multiple years of professional experience in software development with C#, .NET Core, and the broader .NET ecosystem.Proficiency with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.Experience with software architecture, distributed systems, modern CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with a willingness to share knowledge and learn continuously.Passion for software development, with a structured approach and quick comprehension skills.Fluent in both German and English, with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Design and develop modern solutions using C# and .NET Core (.NET 10), including the implementation of high-performance REST APIs within microservice architectures.Maintain high code quality standards by adhering to Clean Code principles, applying SOLID design patterns, and conducting thorough testing.Perform code reviews, provide technical mentorship to team members, and actively contribute new ideas, tools, and best practices to improve development processes.Work extensively with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, and quickly adapt to new technologies as needed.Participate in spontaneous brainstorming sessions with other senior engineers to solve real-world problems, demonstrating enthusiasm and collaborative spirit.
