PROJECT INFORMATION: Industry: Manufacturer. Start: ASAP (flexible). Rate: 175-195 PLN/h Contract: B2B 24 months + prolongations. Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office Location: Warsaw. Project language: English. Business trips: some occasional included. Recruitment process: 2 interviews. We are seeking to expand our team with 1-2 experienced RPG developers who can work onsite in Warsaw for a minimum of 2-3 days per week. Job Overview: The successful candidates will join a team at the forefront of a transformational IT project, involving the rollout of an AS/400-based ERP solution across multiple factories in Europe. The role involves supporting and maintaining business applications primarily developed in RPG. Main Responsibilities: Further develop, debug, and support the Pack2000 ERP system and related applications.Adapt existing functionality and ensure proper testing and deployment.Document processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Work on modernization efforts including classic 5250 screens, web-based user interfaces, micro-services, and Java programs.Provide professional support to a diverse user base. Key Requirements: Proficiency in ILE-RPG and RPG free.Experience with microservices and JSON.Familiarity with Vscode editor.Extensive development experience on AS/400.Background in business systems, preferably within production companies.Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.Solid knowledge of IBM i/OS400 operating systems. Nice to Have: Experience with modern development tools.Understanding of DevOps practices. Other Details: This position involves international collaboration with a team based in various locations across Europe. Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
