About the Opportunity: The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for backend-heavy product and platform development from design through production. This role involves building and scaling systems that handle billions of dollars in mortgage transactions, designing reliable distributed infrastructure to meet complex regulatory requirements, and utilizing modern AI coding tools while ensuring high standards of human review and accuracy. The position requires collaboration across product, infrastructure, and platform teams, contributing to architecture, system design, and engineering standards. 3. Responsibilities: Own backend product and platform work from design to productionBuild and scale systems supporting large mortgage transaction volumesDesign distributed infrastructure compliant with regulatory requirementsUse AI coding tools with rigorous human review for correctnessCollaborate with product, infrastructure, and platform teamsContribute to architecture, system design, and engineering standards 4. Requirements: 3 to 10 years of backend-focused software engineering experienceExperience in a product-focused software company with clear ownership and career progressionStrong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, capable of solving coding problems independentlyExperience designing large-scale distributed systemsStrong product judgment and communication skillsComfortable working in a high-growth environmentDaily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude CodeExperience with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud Platform is beneficial 5.
