Role Description The Software Developer role at HuanMux is a full-time, remote position. You will design, implement, and maintain software solutions that support HuanMux’s creative and technology-driven products. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, contributing to back-end web development, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with designers and other engineers to integrate features and ensure performance and reliability. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving existing systems, and staying current with best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the company’s projects. Qualifications Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Computer Science, including core concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building, testing, and deploying production-ready applications.Candidates should possess proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, databases, and API design.Candidates should possess knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and be able to design modular, maintainable, and reusable code.Relevant experience with common programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are essential.Experience with full software development lifecycle practices, unit testing, and documentation is an advantage. The Role We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and maintain core product features and infrastructure. You’ll work across the stack (or specialize based on your strengths), collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers, and take ownership of features from ideation through production. This is a hands-on role where you’ll write production code, participate in design discussions, improve reliability and performance, and help shape technical direction as we grow.
