Mobile Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Software Engineer - Mobile to design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile software solutions that are used every day in hospitals and aged-care facilities across Australia. The Opportunity In this role, you'll design and deliver mobile applications that support critical healthcare workflows, helping clinicians and caregivers stay connected, informed and responsive when it matters most. You'll contribute to the evolution of a growing mobile platform, influence technical decisions and work with modern engineering practices to deliver high-quality healthcare technology solutions at scale. What You’ll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications and associated components for iOS or Android platforms that align with our platform strategy. Deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable code through testing and engineering best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver well-architected mobile solutions and support product releases. Ensure effective integration of mobile applications with backend services, APIs, and platform infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve mobile-specific software defects and technical issues. Maintain deep understanding of mobile OS, frameworks, libraries, and our products and become a subject matter expert in mobile development. About You You enjoy solving complex technical problems, take pride in delivering high-quality mobile solutions and thrive in collaborative environments where your work has a direct impact on customers. You'll Bring Experience developing native mobile applications for iOS or Android, with strong knowledge of the associated development ecosystem Experience working with device capabilities Development experience in Swift, Kotlin or Java Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and mobile libraries Experience supporting mobile software releases and resolving post-release issues Familiarity with testing principles, including unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks. Experience participating in Agile development cycles and contributing to sprint delivery.
