Full Stack Developer

## About the Role LMI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support IronGate, a mission-ready data acquisition and transfer platform designed for complex federal environments. The platform enables government agencies to securely acquire commercial data and bring it into government networks through a self-service UI portal or direct-to-network transfer, with visibility, governance, and compliance throughout the process. This hands-on engineering role spans frontend, backend, APIs, data persistence, cloud infrastructure, and production operations. You will work with Angular, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and related technologies while collaborating with product owners, designers, DevSecOps professionals, and other engineers. An active Secret security clearance is required. ## Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain full-stack features for IronGate using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express. * Develop UI workflows, APIs, and data persistence capabilities across the application stack. * Design and develop new and existing application features using React. * Maintain consistency and interoperability between React and Angular-based components where required. * Develop and document RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger. * Build secure and well-structured services for frontend applications and external integrations. * Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models using AWS RDS, with attention to indexing, query performance, and reliability. * Work within a Kubernetes-based architecture to design, containerize, deploy, and operate backend services and scheduled jobs. * Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using Angular, React, and PrimeNG. * Support data integration workflows using Airbyte and related extract/load pipelines. * Integrate services with AWS GuardDuty malware protection and follow secure coding and DevSecOps practices. * Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions. * Help define API contracts, data schemas, and modular architectures that are testable, maintainable, and scalable. * Apply AI-assisted development practices with appropriate guardrails, validation layers, and test coverage. * Support unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across the application stack. * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and reliable, repeatable deployments. * Troubleshoot production issues, diagnose bugs, address performance bottlenecks, and support application availability and observability. * Contribute to future architecture evolution involving Apache Spark, Apache Hudi, Elasticsearch, Kong, and Python-based APIs such as FastAPI and Flask. ## Required Qualifications * 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience. * Demonstrated full-stack software development experience in production environments. * Strong experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks. * Proven experience developing and maintaining production React applications. * Experience with Angular or a comparable modern frontend framework. * Strong TypeScript skills. * Hands-on experience building React applications using: * React Hooks * Component composition * State management * Routing * Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and component-based UI patterns. * Experience with UI component libraries such as PrimeNG. * Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs. * Experience with Node.js and Express. * Experience working with PostgreSQL and data modeling. * Active Secret security clearance. ## Technical Skills * React * Angular * TypeScript * JavaScript * HTML * CSS * PrimeNG * Node.js * Express * REST APIs * OpenAPI / Swagger * PostgreSQL * AWS RDS * Kubernetes * Docker / containerization * Airbyte * AWS GuardDuty * CI/CD * DevSecOps * Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing ## Preferred / Future Technology Areas Experience or familiarity with the following technologies is relevant to the platform's future architecture: * Apache Spark * Apache Hudi * Elasticsearch * Kong * Python * FastAPI * Flask ## Work Arrangement * Remote * Location: United States * Production-focused engineering role supporting federal environments * Active Secret security clearance required ## Compensation * $122,209.58–$211,317.81 ## Apply Now Apply now for the Full Stack Software Engineer opportunity to build secure, scalable production systems across React, Angular, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and cloud-based technologies supporting federal missions.
