Senior Python Developer – German Speaking Long-Term Contract Germany – Client-site based (Berlin / Munich / Frankfurt / Cologne / Düsseldorf / Hamburg / Stuttgart) Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer / Software Engineer with strong hands-on backend development experience to join a long-term client engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, REST APIs and SQL, with the ability to work independently in client-facing environments. This is a hands-on individual contributor role and is not suitable for candidates whose recent experience is primarily managerial. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust backend applications and services using Python.Design, develop and integrate REST APIs.Work extensively with SQL for data querying and application development.Develop solutions using Python-based frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar.Collaborate with technical teams and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.Troubleshoot, optimise and improve existing Python applications and services.Contribute to technical discussions, development standards and best practices.
