SAP Project Manager

📍 Location: Brisbane CBD 🏠 Working arrangement: Hybrid 📅 Contract: 6 months 🚀 Estimated start: 19 October 2026 🔐 Requirement: Full-time Australian work rights Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to support a State Government Department in Brisbane. This is a senior project leadership role responsible for the successful delivery of complex SAP-related projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered within agreed scope, timeframes, budgets and quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with senior executives, business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors while supporting broader digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include: • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP projects and initiatives • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and delivery outcomes • Engage and influence senior executives, stakeholders and external vendors • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and drive accountability and performance • Identify and manage project risks, governance and compliance requirements • Align SAP solutions and project outcomes with broader organisational objectives • Provide high-quality project reporting and briefings to senior management • Support digital transformation and operational improvement initiatives Key experience: • Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex technology projects • Strong experience delivering SAP implementations or upgrades, ideally including SAP S/4HANA • Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, Agile and/or PMBOK • Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary project teams • Strong senior stakeholder, vendor, communication and negotiation skills • Sound understanding of SAP technologies and their alignment with business objectives • Strong project risk, governance and compliance management experience • Government or public sector experience will be highly regarded Qualifications in IT, Business or a related discipline, along with certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or SAP Activate, will also be highly regarded. **Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
