About The Role We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team based in Konstanz. In this role, you will be integral to building, maintaining, and advancing our virtualized infrastructure environments tailored for software development within an air-gapped setting. You will work closely with software development teams and IT specialists to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and software releases. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects in the defense and security sectors, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and practices to support our clients' complex requirements. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience in a DevOps environment. Practical knowledge of container technologies such as Docker is essential, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is advantageous. You should be proficient with CI/CD tools and familiar with collaboration platforms, version control systems, and development environments. Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash are required, complemented by solid Linux expertise. Excellent command of German, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a responsible and systematic work approach, analytical thinking, creativity, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Responsibilities Design, maintain, and continuously improve virtualized infrastructure environments for software development within an air-gapped setting.Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes to enable continuous integration and deployment.Collaborate closely with software development teams and IT departments to integrate new software and technologies seamlessly.Implement and oversee security measures to protect system integrity and data confidentiality.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for infrastructure components and processes.
