QA Automation Engineer (Mid-Level) | Cypress | Melbourne | Hybrid Two days per week in the office I’m partnering with a growing technology business to hire a mid-level QA Automation Engineer with hands-on Cypress experience and a strong understanding of C#/.NET. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team, working closely with developers and product colleagues to test software that interacts with physical devices. This is a great opportunity to build on your automation skills and contribute to customer-focused products. The role Build and maintain automated tests using Cypress.Test applications built with C#/.NET, working closely with developers to investigate issues.Explore edge cases, identify defects and flag quality risks early.Carry out software and hardware testing, with training provided on the hardware.Produce clear test documentation and traceable evidence.Contribute to product discussions and help the team assess release readiness. What we’re looking for Experience in a QA engineering role with a strong focus on automation.Hands-on experience with Cypress.Experience working with C#/.NET applications and the ability to read and understand C# code.Strong testing fundamentals, attention to detail and a curious approach to problem-solving.Clear communication and confidence raising issues with developers and product colleagues.Someone who takes ownership of their work and is keen to keep developing their technical skills. You’ll have meaningful responsibility, a collaborative team around you and the chance to broaden your experience across software and hardware testing.
