We are looking for an Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join their technology team in Riga and take ownership of the infrastructure supporting their distributed environments.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a broad infrastructure background who enjoys working across systems, servers, networking, virtualization and automation.
What will you do?
Manage and develop infrastructure, systems and server environments, with a strong focus on data center infrastructure, Linux and server administration.Configure and maintain network infrastructure and devices, including technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, VLANs, VPNs and firewalls.Manage virtualization and compute environments, working with technologies such as VMware and Kubernetes, while supporting the transition towards a more Kubernetes- and Linux-based environment.Automate infrastructure deployment, provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or similar technologies.Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity using monitoring and observability solutions, and work with storage environments as required.Collaborate with international technical teams and occasionally travel to gateway locations for new infrastructure installations and deployments.
What are we looking for?
5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, data centers and/or server environments.Strong hands-on knowledge across Linux, servers, virtualization and data center infrastructure, with experience in network device configuration and technologies such as Cisco, Juniper or equivalent.Solid experience with infrastructure automation is essential — Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or similar tools — together with hands-on experience in infrastructure deployment and provisioning.Experience with monitoring/observability and ideally storage solutions.English B2+ and comfortable working in an international environment.A proactive, curious and hands-on mindset, with a genuine interest in infrastructure and technology.Willingness to occasionally travel internationally for new infrastructure installations.
