Overview Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Ports and Industrial practice in Savannah , Georgia (GA)! Responsibilities The qualified individual will help grow our Ports and Industrial Development team while building and managing relationships with key clientsLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a Ports and Industrial Development practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering10+ years of diversified civil engineering experienceRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseAbility to support complex projects such as port/cargo terminal upland site work and/or industrial development from concept development to preparation of construction documents, permitting and construction administrationPrepare design documents and reports for civil site development (site, layout, grading, storm water, erosion control, utilities, and other infrastructure systems)Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected workAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably Why Kimley-Horn?
