About the Opportunity: The Senior Software Engineer, AI-Native Platform role is responsible for developing shared backend platform capabilities that support administration, integrations, and transaction-heavy products. This position focuses on building reliable backend services, APIs, and workflow orchestration systems, leveraging AI-assisted software development to enhance quality and efficiency. The role contributes to the organization''s platform reliability and operational impact. 3. Responsibilities: Develop shared services, APIs, and workflows to support administrative and integration functionsDesign reliable backend systems for cross-domain business processes and critical operationsUtilize AI throughout the software lifecycle, including planning, coding, review, testing, and quality improvementProvide reusable engineering practices and guidance to improve AI-assisted workflowsCollaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver clear, high-quality solutionsEnsure quality through testing, observability, safe rollouts, and incident investigation 4. Requirements: Strong experience building backend systems and APIs in production environmentsProficiency with AI-assisted software delivery and understanding of appropriate application areasPractical knowledge of AI-native workflows, including iterative development and thorough review processesExperience with Go or a comparable backend language such as JavaExpertise with transactional databases like Postgres, RDS, or Aurora, including schema design and performance tuningSkills in designing APIs, service boundaries, data models, and integration patterns for distributed systemsFamiliarity with workflow orchestration, event-driven architectures, and operational complexitiesCommitment to quality through testing, CI/CD, telemetry, and production ownershipStrong communication skills and a high-ownership approach to technical execution 5.
