Private Equity Associate - Digital Infrastructure

We are working with an established European investment platform looking to add an Associate to its digital infrastructure team in Frankfurt. The team invests in businesses and essential assets supporting the continued growth of the digital economy. Its areas of interest include data centres, fibre networks, connectivity infrastructure and related platforms. The wider investment platform manages more than €4 billion and has a strong record of investing across European markets. This is a hands-on investment role with exposure to the full deal process. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and management teams across both new investments and the existing portfolio. The role Assess new investment opportunities across digital infrastructureBuild and review financial models, valuation analyses and investment returnsSupport commercial, financial and operational due diligencePrepare investment committee materials and internal recommendationsAnalyse sector developments, potential targets and competitive dynamicsAssist with transaction execution, including coordination with advisers and financing partnersWork with portfolio company management teams on strategic and operational prioritiesSupport selected exit and refinancing processes Candidate profile Approximately 2 to 4 years of relevant experienceBackground in private equity, infrastructure investing, investment banking, transaction services or a closely related fieldStrong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skillsGenuine interest in digital infrastructure and technology-enabled assetsComfortable working across both detailed analysis and broader commercial questionsClear communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholdersFluent German is essentialFluent English is also requiredAble to work from Frankfurt and travel when needed
