Role Description As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Candy Digital, you will design, build, and optimize backend services and APIs that power large-scale digital collecting experiences.
You will write high-quality, maintainable code, implement robust integrations with blockchain and marketplace platforms, and collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver new features end-to-end.
You will own technical solutions from architecture through deployment, conduct code reviews, improve system reliability and performance, and help define best practices for software development.
This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective communication, proactive ownership of projects, and a strong focus on secure, scalable systems.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with modern languages and frameworks used in back-end services.Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying design patterns in production systems.Experience building scalable, secure, and high-availability distributed systems, ideally in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Familiarity with blockchain technologies, digital assets, or Web3 ecosystems; Solana experience is a plus.Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability tooling, and modern development workflows.Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to mentor other engineers, and strong, inclusive communication in a remote, cross-functional team.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
