This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established engineering team working on diverse and technically challenging projects. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (EICA) with MEICA experience to support the delivery of client projects and play a key role within the M&E engineering team. The role offers the chance to lead engineering activities, support junior team members and contribute to a dynamic, high-performing environment. Missions/Main Duties Lead and contribute to the design and integration of projects, ensuring delivery to agreed quality, time and budget targets.Monitor project performance against contractual and quality requirements, taking action where needed.Manage checking and approval processes to ensure compliance with client, project and SYSTRA procedures.Prepare and review engineering designs and calculations, taking responsibility for design production.Communicate project requirements clearly and effectively across the team.Act as Work Package Manager on small to medium-sized projects where required.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technical standards and industry requirements.Support business development and winning work activities where needed.Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance throughout the design lifecycle.Contribute to business improvement initiatives and wider team objectives.Lead, support and motivate engineers, designers, graduates and apprentices to help deliver successful project outcomes.Support staff development, training, performance reviews and day-to-day people management responsibilities. Profile/Skills Strong experience in electrical engineering within MEICA and multidisciplinary project environments.Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical design including pumps, MCCs, screening equipment, LV electrical systems, motor control, electrical protection systems, PLCs, SCADA, telemetry and automation systems.Proven experience delivering projects in water, wastewater or similar process-led sectors such as chemical, food, petrochemical or pharmaceutical environments.Good understanding of P&IDs, WIMES, pumping system control philosophies and associated UK water industry standards.Knowledge of HAZOP, HAZCON, ALM processes and DSEAR 2002 requirements.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, timescales and delivery priorities.A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to support team performance and client satisfaction.IEng or equivalent, with demonstrable progress toward Chartered status through a relevant professional body.HNC or equivalent qualification.
