Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI / LLM / MLOps Location: North Brabant, Netherlands Working Pattern: Hybrid – approx. 2 days per week onsite Employment: Permanent Languages: English required; Dutch beneficial Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI / LLM / MLOps 65-90,000 euros per year YourCode Recruitment is working with an established software organisation to recruit a Senior AI Engineer to help shape and develop its growing AI capabilities. This is a senior, hands-on engineering position for someone who wants to do more than build prototypes. You'll take ownership of designing, building and deploying production-grade AI and LLM solutions, while helping establish the architecture, engineering standards and infrastructure needed to scale AI across the organisation. This is not a research-only role – the focus is on building AI solutions that make it into production. The Role You'll combine hands-on development with technical leadership, working closely with software, data, cloud and product teams. Responsibilities will include: Designing and building production-ready AI and LLM applicationsDeveloping scalable AI infrastructure and deployment pipelinesDesigning and optimising RAG solutionsDeveloping agent-based AI workflowsBuilding evaluation frameworks for LLM and AI applicationsWriting high-quality, production-ready PythonIntegrating AI capabilities into existing software productsWorking with MLOps / LLMOps, CI/CD and cloud infrastructureWorking with Docker, Kubernetes and containerised environmentsImproving monitoring, observability, reliability and performanceContributing to AI architecture and technology decisionsEstablishing engineering standards and guiding other engineers What We're Looking For You'll ideally have: Senior AI / Machine Learning engineering experienceStrong commercial Python development skillsExperience taking AI/ML solutions end-to-end into productionHands-on experience with LLMs / Generative AIExperience with RAG and/or AI agentsMLOps and/or LLMOps experienceExperience with LangChain, LangSmith, LangFuse or similarCloud experience, ideally AzureDocker, Kubernetes and CI/CD experienceStrong software engineering and architecture fundamentalsExperience guiding or mentoring other engineersThe right to work in the Netherlands without employer sponsorshipAbility to work on a hybrid basis in North Brabant Why Join?
